ROMET Orkan 5 D is a higher, women’s model from the series of cross bikes from the Romet brand. Versatile design and solid components make the two-wheeler suitable for a variety of circumstances – from driving around the city to more demanding off-road routes.

The high-quality frame has undergone a hydroforming process, thanks to which it is not only light and durable, but also subtly shaped. It is made of aluminum (alloy 6061 Lite), and its geometry guarantees a high level of ergonomics of movement and the possibility of assuming a moderately upright position – ideal for slightly more intense recreational riding. The wiring was routed along the pipes, which reduced unnecessary friction and improved their strength. The SR Suntour NEX HLO suspension fork reduces vibrations transmitted to the joints, which makes it much easier to overcome obstacles such as curbs, holes or even forest bumps.

The bicycle is equipped with Shimano BL-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes in the Post Mount system, i.e. without adapters. This makes them durable and dissipates the heat generated by friction very efficiently.

A more extensive 3×9 drivetrain was installed here, consisting entirely of Shimano accessories (including Altus SL-M2000 shifters, Altus FD-M370 front derailleur, or Altus FC-M371 48/36/26 crank), which works consistently and allows for dynamic work even in difficult terrain.

28 inch wheels on QR-RW clamps, easy to install. They are made of lightweight aluminum and their rims are double-walled, which makes them resistant to damage. Michelin Protek Cross 700×35 tires are characterized by high impact resistance. They have a reflective strip that increases visibility and safety after dark.

The SELLE ROYAL ARIEL saddle keeps you comfortable despite the biggest bumps on the trail. The Royalgel insole guarantees comfort and shock absorption. Thanks to the presence of a special gel, it reduces pressure on the tailbone.
